
KIPUG is a users group for users of personal computers in the Bakersfield and Kern County. Please visit our monthly meetings where you can learn the latest tips and tricks to make your PC experience more productive, easier, and more enjoyable. General meetings are held at the Green Frog Market located at the corner of Alta Vista Drive and Bernard Street at 6:30 p.m. Meetings are from 6:30 p.m.to 8:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month and are open to the public. Meetings include a business session, presentations by guest speakers from software vendors, member presentations, and general discussion with answers from a panel of club experts. At the July meeting of KIPUG (Kern Independent PC Users Group),we will belearning about the history of windows. We will BE meeting at a NEW time, 6:30 p.m. and at a NEW place, Green Frog Market, located at the corner of Alta Vista Drive and Bernard. Street. Membership is required to participate in the door prize and Special Interest Groups (S.I.G.s) which currently include geneology, nerd night for novice and experienced computer users alike, graphics, video, a web developer's group hosted by the KIPUG webmaster, plus other groups.
