KIPUG is a users group for users of personal computers in the Bakersfield and Kern County. Please visit our monthly meetings where you can learn the latest tips and tricks to make your PC experience more productive, easier, and more enjoyable.

 

 

General meetings are held at our new location starting this September. We are meeting at Valley Baptist Church, 4800 Fruitvale Avenue (Children's Building).. Please see the map to the right. It is located on the Northeast corner of Fruitvale and Hageman.

 

Meetings are from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month and are open to the public.

Meeting Place

At our November meeting we will discuss back-up software for your computer. Steve Garcia and others will discuss their favorite software.

At our September meeting we learn about Databaes and spreadsheets.

Membership is required to participate in the door prize and Special Interest Groups (S.I.G.s) which currently include geneology, nerd night for novice and experienced computer users alike, graphics, video, a web developer's group hosted by the KIPUG webmaster, plus other groups. A monthly newsletter, Bits & Bytes, written by club members also is sent to members.
